Norwell Middle School

The Norwell Knights secured a 36-29 victory over the Riverview Raiders in an exciting 7th-grade basketball matchup. The Knights showed strong team play and efficient scoring to come out on top. Blake Fuess led the charge for Norwell, finishing with a game-high 13 points. Gabe Gerber contributed with 6 points, while Weston Harris added another 6, helping to keep the pressure on the Raiders throughout the game. Other key contributions came from Jace Reinhard, who scored 4 points, and Wes Dafforn, who added 3 points. Oakley Bryant and Paxton Frisch rounded out the scoring with 2 points each. The Norwell Knights came up just short in a thrilling 8th-grade basketball game, losing to the Leo Lions 34-32. Despite a hard-fought effort, the Knights couldn't quite close the gap in the final seconds. Benji Lukins and Griffin Bailey led the scoring for Norwell, each finishing with 7 points. Maddux Thornton contributed 6 points, while Titus Jacob added 5 points to the team’s total. Landon Clark chipped in with 3 points, and Miles Daugherty scored 4 points to round out the scoring for the Knights. The 8th grade team finished the season with a 11-7 record. The 7th grade will advance to the NE8MS Tournament Semifinal on Tuesday, January 28th to take on the host East Noble Knights with a tipoff at 5:30pm.
