7th & 8th Girls Basketball Get Past Crestview

The 7th grade girls Norwell Knights triumphed over the Crestview Cougars in a thrilling overtime game, securing a hard-fought 36-35 victory. The Knights showed incredible grit, overcoming a tense battle that saw both teams give it their all. Camryn McCartney led Norwell with 10 points, while Piper Krumma contributed a team-high 12 points to keep the Knights competitive. Paizley Price also added 6 points, and Rylie Van't Hof chipped in with 3 points. Emma Moon and Mercy Meyer each scored 1 point, and Lydia Felton contributed 3 points, rounding out a balanced effort from the team. The 8th grade girls Norwell Knights secured a strong 34-20 win over the Crestview Cougars in their NE8MS quarterfinal matchup. The Knights' offense was led by Ally Graft, who exploded for 17 points, playing a key role in their commanding victory. Avery Thornton added 5 points, while Hadie Isch also contributed 5 points to the effort. Kynnlei Beste, Hadley Meyer, and Elizabeth Mann each chipped in with 2 points, ensuring a well-rounded team performance. Kendall Fegley added 1 point to round out the scoring. The Lady Knights will host the NE8MS semifinal on Wednesday, January 22nd at 5:30pm against East Noble.
