7th & 8th Girls Basketball Soar Past Harding

The Norwell Knights 7th grade girls basketball team delivered an impressive performance, defeating the Paul Harding Hawks 43-7 in a decisive victory. Leading the charge for Norwell was Paizley Price, who scored a game-high 19 points. Other key contributors for the Knights included Piper Krumma with 6 points, Mercy Meyer with 5, and Rylie Van't Hof adding 4 points. Camryn McCartney and Lydia Felton also made their mark, contributing 3 and 4 points, respectively. Ada Campbell rounded out the scoring with 2 points. The 7th grade Knights finished the regular season with a 15-2 record. The Norwell Knights 8th grade girls basketball team delivered an overwhelming performance, defeating the Paul Harding Hawks 60-2 in a commanding win. Leading the way for Norwell was Elizabeth Mann, who scored 11 points, while Hadie Isch added 10 points to the team’s impressive total. Other standout performers included Hadley Meyer and Ally Graft, both contributing 8 points. Stella Tumbleson chipped in with 5 points, and Kendall Fegley, Avery Thornton, Kynnlei Beste, Leah Randol, and Rilynn Hoopingarner all contributed to the scoring effort. Fegley, Thornton, and Beste each scored 4 points, Randol and Hoopingarner added 3 points apiece, and Tumbleson finished with 5 points. The 8th grade Knights finished their regular season with a record of 12-5. Both teams will begin NE8MS tournament play on Thursday, January 16th when they host the Crestview Cougars with the 7th grade beginning at 5:30pm.
