7th Girls Win, 8th Fall to Woodside

The Norwell Knights secured a dominant 29-17 victory over the Woodside Warriors in a 7th-grade girls basketball matchup on Thursday. Led by an impressive performance from Piper Krumma, who scored 10 points, the Knights displayed balanced scoring and strong teamwork throughout the game. Camryn McCartney also played a key role, contributing 8 points to help her team build a commanding lead. Annabelle Gill added 2 points, while Paizley Price scored 4 points, and Rylie Van't Hof chipped in with 2 points. Mercy Meyer rounded out the scoring with 1 point, and Ada Campbell also contributed 2 points for Norwell. The Norwell Knights were narrowly defeated by the Woodside Warriors, 31-27, in an intense 8th-grade girls basketball game. Despite a strong effort, the Knights couldn't quite overcome a late surge by Woodside. Ally Graft led the charge for Norwell with 8 points, while Avery Thornton added 6 points, helping to keep the game within reach throughout. Kynnlei Beste contributed 4 points, and Rilynn Hoopingarner also scored 6 points. Stella Tumbleson added 2 points, and Leah Randol rounded out the scoring with 1 point. The Lady Knights will be back in action when they host Indian Springs on Monday, December 16th for a 5:00pm 7th grade start.
