7th Wins, 8th Boys Fall to Bluffton

The Norwell Knights' 7th grade boys basketball team came out on top with a 43-33 victory over the Bluffton Tigers in an exciting matchup. Led by standout performances from multiple players, the Knights were able to hold off a resilient Bluffton squad. Wes Dafforn was the game's top scorer, putting up 15 points to lead Norwell's offensive charge. Oakley Bryant contributed 6 points, while Jace Reinhard and Gabe Gerber each added 8 and 9 points, respectively. Blake Fuess also chipped in with 5 points, rounding out a well-balanced scoring attack for the Knights. With their strong team play and key contributions from all over the court, Norwell improved their record to 7-1, while Bluffton fought hard but couldn't close the gap in the final moments. The 8th grade boys Norwell Knights failed to keep their halftime lead and lost to the Bluffton Tigers in a hard-fought contest, falling 42-34. Despite strong individual performances, the Knights were unable to close the gap as Bluffton pulled away in the third quarter. Landon Clark led the way for Norwell with 10 points. Maddux Thornton contributed 6 points, while Benji Lukins and Titus Jacob each added 5 points. Griffin Bailey scored 4 points, and Cody Waldman and Ben Captain each chipped in 2 points to round out the scoring for the Knights. The boys basketball team will next travel to Bellmont on Monday, December 9th for a 4:30pm 7th grade start.
