7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball Cruises Past Maple Creek

The Norwell 7th grade girls basketball team delivered a commanding performance on the court, defeating the Maple Creek Bobcats 49-19. Leading the way for Norwell was Camryn McCartney, who put up 16 points to help secure the victory. Piper Krumma added 11 points, while Paizley Price chipped in with 8 points. The Norwell offense was well-balanced, with Rylie Van't Hof contributing 6 points, Ada Campbell scoring 4 points, and Lydia Felton adding 2 points. Mercy Meyer also made her mark, putting up 2 points in the team's dominant win. The Norwell 8th grade girls basketball team dominated the Maple Creek Bobcats in a stunning 39-0 victory. The Norwell defense was suffocating, as they held the Bobcats scoreless throughout the entire game. Offensively, Kendall Fegley led the way with 11 points, while Hadley Meyer contributed 7 points. Avery Thornton added 6 points, and a balanced scoring effort saw Leah Randol, Stella Tumbleson, Kynnlei Beste, Rilynn Hoopingarner, and Elizabeth Mann each score 2 points. The girls will travel to DeKalb on Wednesday, November 20th to open NE8MS conference play with the 7th grade beginning at 5:30pm.
