Norwell Middle School

The Norwell Girls Soccer team shutout Riverview on Monday 3-0 in a makeup game from last Thursday. Norwell scored early in the first half as a Vivian Branham cross found the foot of Layla Frisch, who confidently placed it in the back of the net. Moments later, Hadie Isch scored a second Norwell goal from inside the penalty box. Lilly Holmes put the game out of reach in the second half when she converted a penalty to give the Knights their third goal. Maggi Neuenschwander and Phoenix Whitsitt preserved the shutout in goal with credit going to the Norwell defense, which didn't allow a Riverview shot on goal. Norwell wraps up their regular season on Tuesday, May 7th at 5:00pm when they host Paul Harding.
