Norwell Middle School

Both Norwell soccer teams were defeated by Leo last night in competitive contests. The boys team tried to fight back after being down 2-0, when Blake Fuess scored to make it 2-1 at half. Leo added two goals late in the second half to make it a 4-1 final for the visiting Lions. In the girls game, Leo squeaked by the Knights with a 1-0 victory. Maggi Neuenschwander had many key saves to keep the Knights within striking distance. Both soccer teams will travel on Thursday, April 18th for a 5:00pm match against East Noble.
