Norwell Middle School

The Norwell Girls Swim team kicked off their season by hosting six other schools in the Norwell Girls Swim Invitational. Our Knights finished in second place overall, but they were carried by many strong performances. Faith Grant finished in 3rd place in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:39.04. Emma Easley came in 2nd in the 100 Yard IM (1:15.31). Mia Kurtz was also 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle (29.62). In the 100 Yard Freestyle, Emma Holte finished 3rd with a time of 1:10.96. The 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Abby Swineford, Gracie Haiflich, Eva Grisafo, and Emma Holte finished 2nd (2:12.52). Gracie Haiflich also came in 3rd (1:30.46) in the 100 Yard Backstroke. Lastly, the 300 Yard Freestyle Relay team (Faith Grant, Emma Easley, Layken Mialkowski, and Mia Kurtz) were 2nd with a time of 3:18.06. The Norwell Boys Swim Invitational will be on Thursday, February 8th at 5:00pm in the Norwell Pool.
