The Knights traveled to DeKalb on Thursday where they were defeated by the host Barons and Maple Creek in a tri-meet. Norwell first squared off against DeKalb and dropped the contest 48-37. Here were the Norwell winners against DeKalb: 90lbs - Crete Edwards by fall 95lbs - Clayton Parsons by fall 102lbs - Fielder Brege by decision (8-0) 117lbs - Augi Arellano by decision (8-2) 125lbs - Royce Merrill by decision (14-8) 132lbs - Preston Capps by fall 150lbs - Colton Huss by decision (4-3) 195lbs - Lincoln Moyer by fall In the next meet, Norwell lost to Maple Creek by a 60-28 score. Winners for the Knights against Maple Creek were as follows: 80lbs - Charles Simerman by fall 90lbs - Crete Edwards by major decision (12-2) 95lbs - Clayton Parsons by fall 125lbs - Royce Merrill by fall 195lbs - Lincoln Moyer by decision (7-1) The Knights compete again on Tuesday, February 6th at New Haven for a 5pm meet.
