Norwell Middle School

The Norwell Knights volleyball teams battled the Crestview Cougars, earning victories in the 6th and 8th grade matches while falling in a hard-fought 7th grade contest. The 6th grade Knights defeated Crestview in straight sets, 25-20 and 25-22. The 7th grade team battled to a three-set match, dropping the opening set 22-25 before responding with a 25-13 victory in the second. Crestview then edged Norwell 18-16 in the decisive third set. The 8th grade Knights closed out the evening with a straight-set victory, defeating the Cougars 25-19 and 25-18. All three Norwell teams will return to action on Thursday, September 24, at Adams Central. 6th grade and 7th grade matches are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
