Norwell Middle School

The Norwell Knights continued their strong start to the season Monday night, traveling to Leo and coming away with victories in both the 7th and 8th grade volleyball matches. The 7th grade Knights improved to 9-1 overall and 3-0 in NE8MS play with a dominant straight-set victory over the Lions, 25-7 and 25-8. Norwell controlled the match from start to finish, earning another impressive conference win. The 8th grade Knights (7-3, 3-0 in NE8MS) battled through a competitive three-set match to defeat Leo, 25-18, 23-25 and 15-3. After splitting the first two sets, Norwell took control in the deciding set to secure the victory. Both Norwell teams will return home on Wednesday, September 16, when they host the East Noble Knights. The first match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
