Norwell Middle School

The Norwell Knights picked up a pair of victories over the Bluffton Tigers Thursday night in middle school volleyball. The Norwell 7th grade team dominated in a straight-set victory, winning 25-9 and 25-5 to improve to 2-0 on the season. Bluffton fell to 0-1. The 8th grade Knights rallied after dropping the opening set 21-25, winning the second set 25-21 before closing out the match with a 15-6 victory in the third. Norwell improves to 1-1, while Bluffton drops to 0-1. Norwell will return to action Monday, August 31, at South Adams. The 6th and 7th grade matches are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
