The Norwell Boys Swim Invitational belonged to the Knights. Fueled by depth, determination, and a few electric finishes, the Norwell Knights captured the team title Saturday night with 471 points, outdistancing Bluffton (363) and Huntington (340). Memorial Park (228), Indian Springs (218), South Adams (147), Bellmont (139), and Adams Central (130) rounded out the field. From the opening splash, Norwell set the tone. The Knights kicked off the finals with a win in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, touching the wall in 2:18.88. The quartet of Parker Kopp, Elias Nussbaum, Bryce Grant, and Logan Craig combined for a sharp, balanced swim that energized the home crowd and put Norwell on top early. Kopp continued his standout night in the 100 Yard Individual Medley, claiming first place in 1:13.37. His smooth transitions and strong closing stretch gave the Knights another key victory and valuable team points. Norwell’s depth shined again in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Carter Lloyd, Jensen Oakleaf, Canyon Aschliman, and Kai Davis delivered a winning time of 2:15.14, holding off the field with a determined final leg to secure the Knights’ third relay triumph of the meet. Logan Craig added an individual title in the 100 Yard Backstroke, clocking a 1:18.45 to finish first. His consistent pace and strong finish capped off a big night that included both individual and relay success.
