Norwell Middle School

The 7th grade Norwell Knights saw their season come to an end with a 34–11 loss to the Riverview Raiders in the conference quarterfinals. Norwell battled throughout the game but struggled to find consistent offense against a strong Raiders defense. Offensively for the Knights, Barrett Dafforn led the way with 6 points, while Max Norris added 4 points. Connor Karst chipped in 1 point to round out the scoring for Norwell, which showed effort and resilience despite the tough outcome. The 8th grade Norwell Knights advanced to the conference semifinals with a solid 33–25 victory over the Riverview Raiders in the quarterfinal round. Norwell set the tone early and maintained control throughout the contest, leading 11–5 after the first quarter, 13–10 at halftime, and stretching the advantage to 26–15 by the end of the third quarter. The Knights showcased balanced scoring in the win, led by Jace Reinhard with 8 points. Oakley Bryant and Paxton Frisch each added 6 points, while Blake Fuess chipped in 5 points. Weston Harris and Gabe Gerber scored 3 points apiece, and Oakly Moser contributed 2 points to round out the scoring effort. With the win, Norwell moves on to host the conference semifinal on Tuesday, January 27th, when the Knights will face Crestview at approximately 6:30 p.m.
