7th & 8th Boys Basketball Ground Jets

The Norwell Knights 7th grade boys basketball team earned a convincing 43–28 victory over the Adams Central Jets on Monday night. Norwell jumped out to a fast start, leading 15–3 after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 27–9 at halftime. The Knights continued to control the pace in the second half, taking a 35–18 lead after three quarters before closing out the win. Norwell’s balanced scoring attack was led by Ripken Bailey and Eli Cassel, who each finished with 11 points. Max Norris and Zeke Sliger added 5 points apiece, while Connor Karst chipped in 4 points. Jensen Oakleaf scored 3 points, and Talon Wireman and Barrett Dafforn each added 2 points in the team effort. The Norwell Knights 8th grade boys basketball team picked up a solid 38–29 win over the Adams Central Jets on Monday night. Norwell set the tone early, taking a 10–6 lead after the first quarter and holding a 21–17 advantage at halftime. The Knights continued to build momentum in the third quarter, extending the lead to 30–22, before closing out the victory in the fourth. Blake Fuess led all scorers with an impressive 19 points for Norwell. Jace Reinhard added 10 points, while Weston Harris finished with 4 points. Oakley Bryant contributed 3 points, and Wes Dafforn chipped in 2 points to round out the scoring in the team win. Norwell will return to action on Wednesday, December 17th when they travel to Riverview for a 5:00pm game.
