7th & 8th Boys Basketball Defeat Bellmont

The Norwell 7th grade boys basketball team earned a solid 32–21 victory over the Bellmont Braves, using a strong middle stretch to take control of the game. After a slow start that saw the Knights trail 6–3 after one quarter, Norwell responded with a 14-point second period to grab a 17–16 halftime lead. The Knights continued to build momentum in the third quarter, extending the advantage to 22–16 before closing out the game with a confident fourth-quarter performance. Connor Karst and Max Norris each scored 4 points for Norwell, while Ripken Bailey led the way with 9 points. Eli Cassel added 8 points, and Barrett Dafforn chipped in 6 in the balanced team win. The Norwell 8th grade boys basketball team delivered a dominant performance on Monday night, rolling past the Bellmont Braves 53–17. The Knights set the tone early with a 23–4 first-quarter burst and never looked back, stretching the lead to 40–7 at halftime. Norwell continued its strong play in the second half, reaching 53–13 after three quarters before closing out the convincing win. Blake Fuess led the Knights with 15 points, while Oakly Moser added 11 and Oakley Bryant scored 7. Jace Reinhard contributed 6 points, Wes Dafforn had 5, Clark Evans scored 4, Paxton Frisch added 3, and Weston Harris chipped in 2. Norwell returns to action on Wednesday, December 10th, traveling to Crestview for a 5:30 p.m. matchup.
