7th & 8th Girls Basketball Triumphant Over New Haven

The Norwell Knights 7th grade girls basketball team delivered a dominant performance on Monday night, shutting out the New Haven Bulldogs 57–0. Norwell set the tone early with a 21-point first quarter and continued to control the game on both ends of the floor, adding 14 points in the second, 8 in the third, and 14 more in the final period. Elissa Rosswurm led all scorers with an impressive 20 points, while Ella Ford added 7 and Pearl Smith contributed 9. Bailey Meyer scored 8 points, Val Lenwell had 6, Lucy McBride tallied 4, Ruthie Bushee chipped in 2, and Emmalee Scott rounded out the scoring with 1 point. The Norwell Knights 8th grade girls basketball team cruised to a 46–5 victory over the New Haven Bulldogs on Monday night, showcasing strong execution on both ends of the court. Norwell jumped out quickly with a 15-point first quarter and carried the momentum into halftime with a 14-point second period. The Knights added 13 more in the third and closed things out with 4 in the final quarter. Norwell featured a balanced scoring attack, led by Emma Moon and Mercy Meyer with 9 points each. Camryn McCartney and Charlotte Smith each added 7 points, while Jahnna Smith scored 4. Rylie Van’t Hof and Piper Krumma contributed 4 points apiece, and Ada Campbell rounded out the scoring with 2. They return to action on Tuesday, November 25th, when they host Southern Wells at 5:00 p.m.
